Freddie Wins Saturn Award

I am a little late in posting this but this is just to let you know that Freddie won an award recently. He won the Saturn Award for Best Perormance by a Younger Actor for his role in August Rush at the 34th Annual Saturn Awards. For more winners, visit here.

Also, a few new articles have appeared lately to coincide with the release of The Spiderwick Chronicles on DVD in the USA and I have put the links to a few below for you. I will add them to the site as soon as I can. Don't forget to buy The Spiderwick Chronicles on DVD!

August Rush - DVD Caps

I have finally finished adding the DVD captures from August Rush to the gallery. Rather than adding them all into one folder, I have split them up into the chapters of the DVD so it will be easier for you to find pictures from particular scenes. There are a lot so make sure you check them all out!

I am currently working on the video archive so keep checking back for updates on that. I am going to be making all videos available to watch on the website, as well as to download which I think will please a lot of you so keep checking back!

New Layout!

As you can see, we have a brand new layout! This was made by Marcela, who also made the previous layout. I think the darker colours suit really well as they illustrate how Freddie has grown lately, and go especially well with the news of his new film in which he will be playing a more mature role. Thank you so much to Marcela for the beautiful new layout!

Also, it came to my attention that a couple of the videos were corrupted (The Big Story and Martha Stewart). I have now reuploaded them so they should be working fine now. If anyone notices any of the videos are not working correctly etc. please let me know so I can fix them.

New Film - The Beautiful Miscellaneous

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Freddie will be in a new film called The Beautiful Miscellaneous. The film is an adaptation of a novel by Dominic Smith, and is a coming-of-age tale that "follows 17-year-old Nathan Nelson (Highmore), who awakens from a coma with an exceptional memory and synesthesia, in which words, shapes or numbers become colors, smells or flavors. His father, a demanding physics professor, sends him to a research institute for savants to find a use for his new gifts."

This is the only confirmation we have of Freddie being in the film at the moment so we can't be sure it is deffinately accurate, but sounds fantastic! It will be a really different and mature role for Freddie, something he has said recently in interviews that he would like, so congratulations to him for booking this role! Also, sorry for the lack up updates again recently. My computer has had a virus and I only managed to fix it yesterday. Things will be back on track soon, and we have a brand new layout coming too so keep checking back!

New Videos & Headshot

I apologise for the lack of updates recently; I have been very busy but things should resume as normal now. To start off, I have added some new videos to the site. There is one video of the Making of Two Brothers, two videos of the Making of Arthur & the Invisibles, one interview with Made in Hollywood, and one video of an interview with Top Parents. Make sure you check them all out. The Top Parents video is particularly great as it is HQ and Freddie does the whole interview in French!

Also, thanks to Lacy, I have just added a new autographed photo of Freddie to the gallery. Make sure you check it out as Freddie has a new headshot that he is sending out and it is really lovely.

New Video Interview - In French!

Thanks to my Seb and Xavier for telling me about a new video interview with Freddie online at DailyMotion.com. Freddie talks about Spiderwick, his future, school and Johnny Depp in the interview... but all in French! Even if you can't speak French, give it a look anyway as the picture is great quality too. I will be adding it to the site soon along with some other recent videos etc. so keep checking back!

August Rush - Deleted Scenes

I have just added DVD captures from 4 deleted scenes from August Rush. If you haven't checked out the DVD yet, make sure you do so you can take a look at the deleted scenes. The one entitled I Can't Hear It is especially good. I have started making caps from the movie so those should be online soon so keep checking back!

Change of News System

Unfortunately, I had to change the system I use to post news at the site as the old one was at severe risk of being hacked. It has unfortunately meant that we have lost all the old news posts but it was something that had to be done. Some of my other sites were hacked and I don't want it happening to Freddie Online as well so it had to change.

Keep checking back for some new updates soon. I have some new images to add but I need to finish making sure the site is as safe as it can be at the moment. Thanks for understanding!
